We are proud to announce that HiHELIOS has been featured in the latest edition of Innovation Network Magazine, highlighting our contribution to the future of Europe’s clean energy transition!

Europe’s energy landscape is undergoing a fundamental transformation on the path to climate neutrality. As the share of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar photovoltaic (PV) continues to grow, so does the need for grid flexibility to ensure a stable and reliable electricity supply.

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are playing a central role in this evolution. However, existing technologies often require a compromise between power (for grid stability and fast response) and energy capacity (for long-duration storage). No single battery chemistry currently offers an optimal solution for both requirements simultaneously.

HiHELIOS project is addressing this challenge head-on. Our innovative approach aims to combine high power and high energy capabilities within a single storage solution — unlocking new possibilities for grid management and accelerating Europe’s progress towards its decarbonization targets.
