Contribution to the project

VITO is leading the task on setting the requirements and KPIs for the hybrid energy storage system solutions and the different use cases that will be delivered and exploited in the HiHELIOS project. VITO is also an owner and operator of one the 4 use cases, where a HESS solution will be supporting a smart charging platform for electric passenger cars. VITO provides the battery management solutions for the HESS and will contribute to physics-based and data-driven real time management, diagnosis and predictive maintenance. VITO is leading the task in life cycle cost and environmental impact assessment of the demonstrators in the different use cases. VITO is also taking the lead in the task related to the evaluation of revenues coming from multiple services that can be offered by the HiHELIOS technology solutions.
