Energy Pool is a key player in the energy transition, providing services and advanced software solutions for the management and optimisation of complex energy systems. From strategy to operations, including consumers, renewables and electricity storage solutions, our mission is to contribute to the provision of reliable and affordable electricity while reducing CO2 emissions.
Energy Pool has been a pioneer in the French electricity flexibility market since 2009. The company employs over 400 people and manages consumption, generation and storage assets worldwide, representing >8 GW of capacity.
In addition to France, we are also present on the Japanese, Turkish, Dutch, Ivorian, Saudi and Belgian markets, and are developing our business in around ten other countries (including Germany, Italy and Morocco).
Contribution to the project
Through its contributions to HiHelios, Energy Pool will both share and gain knowledge as well as develop innovations on several topics:

Energy Pool will ensure the scalability and the capability for industrial deployment of the innovative EMS that will be developed by the partners of HiHelios

Energy Pool will evaluate the multi-service revenue opportunities that HESS could generate

Energy Pool will develop a generic economic evaluation tool for HESS plants with multiple use-cases and revenue streams and applicable in different countries

Energy Pool will develop financial and business models for HESS plants on different use cases and countries, considering sustainability of the solutions
